A harmonica moment for your event
A slow blues as the sun goes down on the terrace. A soul groove that pulls people out of their chairs. A harmonica solo over a loop he built thirty seconds ago.
Book him as a featured player, or as the one-man band where harmonica is the star. See the one-man band.
On stage with your artist
He has spent years sitting in on jams and playing with other musicians, from Miami to New York stages like Rockwood Music Hall and Webster Hall. Hire him to add harmonica to your band’s show or your artist’s set.
In the studio
Session players get hired for one thing: to make the song better. Willy has been hired for sessions on harmonica, guitar, piano and vocals, and he records at his soundproofed home studio in Miami. Studio sessions.

How he got here
At about sixteen, jamming along to the Grateful Dead with friends, everyone grabbed an instrument. Nobody was playing harmonica, so he did. He taught himself on YouTube and, in his words, was “really bad at first.”
At seventeen and eighteen he was sneaking into jam sessions with jazz players he “should not have had any business playing music with.” He kept going back. Want to learn it yourself? Harmonica lessons.

Questions
Good to know
Where can I hire a harmonica player in Miami?
Willy B is a Miami harmonica player for hire for private events, weddings, corporate events, stage shows and recording sessions across Miami and South Florida. Tell him what you need.
What styles of harmonica does Willy B play?
Blues first, then soul, funk, jazz, country, folk and pop. He plays it as a lead voice, over his own live loops or with a band.
Can you record harmonica for my song remotely?
Yes. Send him the track and he’ll send back the harmonica. He can add guitar, piano or vocals, or arrange the song, too. Prefer to be in the room? He also records at his Miami studio.
Can you play harmonica with our band at a show?
Yes. He sits in with bands and artists. Send the date, the songs and what you want the harmonica to do.
Is a harmonica the same as a harp?
In blues, “harp” is a nickname for the harmonica, which is why people search “harp player” when they want a harmonica player. Willy plays harmonica, not the concert harp.
How much does it cost to hire a harmonica player?
It depends on the job: a featured spot at an event, a full one-man-band set, or a recording session. Willy quotes each one personally. Ask for a quote.
