A full band. One musician.
A band means a stage, a load-in and five people to brief. Willy is one musician. He records drums, bass and keys live on a looper, layer by layer, then plays guitar or harmonica, sings over the groove, and solos on top.
Guests watch the song get built in front of them. It sounds like a band and feels like a friend playing in your living room. How the one-man band works.
Songs about your people
Send him the stories before the night: the inside jokes, how the couple met, the thing the birthday boy will never live down. During the set they come back as songs, and your guests sing along. How custom songs work.
At dinner parties he can walk the table and give every guest a verse. You decide how sharp it gets. One private host has booked him about every three weeks for the past three years for exactly that.
Curated to the hosts, never a playlist
Before the night, he asks what you love, what your guests love, and what you never want to hear again. The set is built around the answers.
Americana, soul, funk, blues, jazz, R&B, folk, country and pop, in English and Spanish. Dinner stays at conversation level, even with the full looping set. When the room is ready to move, so is he.
For the people who make the call
Planners, house managers, executive assistants: your job is no surprises. His too. He can work directly with you, and sends what your file needs: certificate of insurance, W-9, contract and invoice. He carries $1 million in coverage and can add your venue as an additional insured. References are available on request.
Discretion comes standard: your guests stay private, and he’s happy to sign an NDA.

- Short breaks between sets, usually with recorded music playing.
- Setup planned around your venue, and a sound check before he plays.

Questions
Good to know
How much does it cost to hire a musician for a private party in Miami?
It depends on the night, so Willy quotes every event personally instead of publishing a rate. What shapes the fee: the date and season, how long he plays, the format, where the party is, and add-ons like songs written about your guests. Send your details for a quote.
Can one musician really fill the room?
Yes. Live looping lets him play drums, bass, keys, guitar, harmonica and vocals at once, so it sounds like a band. He has played rooms from a 50-seat dinner to a 5,000-seat venue. For a big dance floor, ask about a band of 3 to 7 pieces; he books other artists too.
Can you keep the music low during dinner?
Yes. Dinner sets stay at conversation level, and he turns it up when the room is ready. He curates the set around your guests, not a fixed show.
Do you sing in Spanish?
Yes. He sings in Spanish as well as English, and his sets move across soul, funk, blues, jazz, R&B, country and pop. Tell him the songs your guests love, in English or Spanish, and he’ll build around them.
Can you play at a private home?
Yes: homes, estates, gardens and terraces around Miami and South Florida. Tell him about the space, indoors or out, and where guests will gather, and he’ll plan the setup around it.
Will you keep our event private?
Yes. Discretion comes standard: your guests stay private, and he’s happy to sign an NDA.
Will you play on a yacht?
Yes, he’s happy to, and he has a battery option for boats, beaches and gardens. Tell him about the boat, its size and where guests gather, and he’ll tell you what setup works.
